Project Description
Eat your heart out!
The range and diversity of Noosa’s more than 140 eating establishments is truly astonishing for such a comparatively small place. Here are a few of my favourites:
In Noosa Heads, the enduring top-end dining options include Berardo’s, Sails, Bistro C and Season. For anytime of the day relaxed eating, there’s Gastons and Café le Monde. New options with real promise include the Noosa Beach House restaurant (at the Sheraton), Miss Moneypenny’s and Locale.
Half way between Hastings St and Noosaville, there are mouthwatering choices at Quamby Place. Try the Japanese award-winning Wasabi, the iconic Rickys, upmarket Wood Fire Grill or Rock Salt where the locals BTO (bring their own!).
In Sunshine Beach, Coconut Grove has been consistently good and XO offers great Asian fare including yum cha.
You could fire a rifle up Gympie Terrace and most likely hit a great restaurant. Gusto’s, of course, a long-time favourite of locals and visitors. Then there’s Vanilla, Sirocco, Thomas Corner and Little Humid.
In addition, the Noosa area boasts scores of other well-priced restaurants, cafés and bars all offering a wonderful array of food and drink. Plus, of course, a warm Noosa welcome!
